**Guess what I learned over the weekend?!?! My postal delivery service does it's own thing. Not really a surprise as we have had scattered issues before but they pick up when they can and deliver when they can. Yes I live rural. I get that people don't want to work. BUT I also know that you advertise a M-Sat service. You have people that send out emails of what to expect in the snail mail and there are people like me who put stuff in the box and expect that it will get picked up and sent on it's merry way. I am NOT a flaker and I don't like that this is happening. I have dropped some swaps as people are sticklers on the stamped date and I have no control over that. I do send and I will be happy to resend if something doesn't arrive but I guess snail mail anymore for real means a SNAIL may be delivering it!
**I was on vacation (at a convention) but have since found out that the mail I had left at the front desk never was sent. I am trying to catch up on what I had done (re-doing) as the resort sent me an email asking me what to do with the items. I said mail them so they mailed them back to me (per email from them). I am not sure when they will arrive so will do a resend for the 3 swaps affected. I sincerely apologize for the delay. The whole trip was a fiasco :(
8/10/21: All above are in the mailbox. I put them there I know they are ready to go! :)
I am still trying to figure out who "me" is, whenever I think I might have figured it out I realize I have changed again and need to work on it some more LOL! I am married and have one adult daughter. I love my computer and the friends it has enabled me to make - swapping is just one of the things I enjoy doing, reading is another hobby I really enjoy. I am also recipe collector (low carb and Keto.) I enjoy crafty things but it seems my muse has gone on an extended vacation :( Recently I have taken a beginner sewing class and LOVED it. I am interested in learning more and trying some patterns. I geocahe too and love finding small interesting things to put in for other cacher's to find. I love to ride my motorcycle and spend time with other riders, I do a lot of volunteer things with them.
I listen to a variety of things but mostly I like oldies, country and classic rock.
Seems I am caught up in things like 911 and SWAT.
Crafting seems to have gone by the wayside although I still putter around here and there with fun papers (card making) and some fabrics with sewing. I have been doing a little Diamond Painting also.

*plastic pieces parts - I don't use them and they just end up collecting dust. I am not into the big and bulky embellishments or additions.
*I also don't care much for glitter. (glitter glue ok but messy glitter - not so much- lol)
*Smoke or pet smells.
*No pet or little kids(mine is grown) items as I have none of either at home.
Felicia Mason I just read Sweet Devotion - very good :) What happens next?!?!?!?
Other authors I like: Mary Higgins Clark. James Patterson, Joanne Fluke, Nancy Mehl, Carl Hiaasen willing to give most any mystery author a try
Series if they are all out already, I read fast and get frustrated having to wait for the next in the series.
Really anything is fine though - I like to READ :) Keeps my brain agile LOL!
I would love to get tried and true recipes from anyone :) I am happy to set up private swaps if you want to or just trade via email. Guess it all depends if you want rated or not LOL!
I am trying my best to eat KETO but I do the Dirty, Lazy version so really anything in moderation but of course lower carbs are better.
I am really working on building up a good assortment of freezer recipes so I can make dinner quickly. I do short bouts of OAMC meaning I am more apt to do a 2 week version or a one meat version than a whole month at a time LOL!
I recently did a chicken session and then went and bought 5 lb of ground beef and did a mini session. So far so good! I would love more recipes to try using beef as this time the theme was mostly Mexican.
