I am a stay-at-home mom to my daughter and a home-based travel agent. I am currently training to run in the Disney Princess Half-Marathon in February 2011.

My major creative outlet has always been scrapbooking. I love it! It is a way for me to work creatively with my hands and preserve precious memories for my family. I have made so many friends through scrapbooking and have over 20 completed books. It is a never-ending process to scrap our lives, but I’m making headway and hope that I never catch up.

I love the Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Toad The Wet Sprocket, Goo Goo Dolls, Barenaked Ladies, Van Halen (Sammy years), Queen, The Who and pretty much anything out of the 80s.

Right now though since my daughter is 3 most of the music I listen to is from Disney movies (which believe it or not I actually love), Backyardigans and other children's music.

I love books and will pretty much read anything. Every year I keep a list of the books that I've read and I love to look back and see how diverse the list can be.

I am a Harry Potter dork!!! I also love Wuthering Heights. I actually collect different editions of the book and have about 10 so far. I'm also a Jane Austen fan with my favorite being Sense and Sensibility. I also love the Twilight Saga. I'm also a big fan of murder mystery/thrillers (ie. James Patterson, John Grisham, Patricia Cornwell).

I love the movies. I love going to the movies by myself. I adore the classics. Wizard of Oz, The Quiet Man, Rear Window and Arsenic and Old Lace are a few of my favorites. I also love Chocolat, The Big Lebowski, This Is Spinal Tap, The Princess Bride, Anchorman, Love Actually, Kill Bill Vol I & II, Julie & Julia and so many more

I have not missed an Oscar's ceremony since I was 10 years old. Each year I try to see all the films nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor/Actress, Best Supporting Actor/Actress and Best Animated film.

I also write an article for Examiner.com on Classic Films in Columbus.

I am a TV junkie. I always have been. My love of television led to a career as a Promotion Producer for the now defunct WB Network.

Currently I'm watching...Chuck, The Event, Glee, Modern Family, Bones, Fringe, CSI, Community, 30 Rock, The Office, Parks & Rec, CSI: NY, The Good Guys, Mad Men, Deadliest Catch.

I am a hardcore scrapbooker. I am a follower of Stacy Julian's Library of Memories system and I could not live without my Cricut.

Materials I use the most:

Anything Disney, Ribbon, Cardstock (any color), Buttons, Brads, Flowers, Tombow Mono Refillable Permanent Adhesive, Stickles, Die cuts, Jolee Stickers, glue dots, jewels, chipboard letters, letter stickers.

I will never flake on a swap and I will always provide a rating at the end of a swap. One of my biggest pet peeves is signing up for a swap and working really hard to complete my commitment and not having that courtesy returned.
