My name is Rachel. I grew up in Utah. My favorite color is purple and I wear lots of navy blue.

Piano based anything is pretty cool by me. I also like a lot of female vocalists like Ingrid Michaelson, Greta Morgan of The Hush Sound, Florence Welch of Florence and the Machine, etc.

I am of the Harry Potter generation, but pretty much all other dystopian YA is not my cup of tea (although I do like tea, rooibos teas are delicious). East of Eden, The Bell Jar, Ella Enchanted, Speak, and Me Talk Pretty One Day are a selection of some of my favorite books.

I crochet and I'm learning to knit. Sometimes I sew dresses, but only dresses, so I usually need a lot of one type of fabric.
