Hello, I'm Leslie. I am from a very small town in the northern California coast. We have the ocean, mountains & rivers, and beautiful Redwood groves all in easy access. I am married and a mommy with 3 little boys: 6, 2, and 4months. They keep me running all day long! I work as a part time dental assistant and volunteer in our Volunteer Fire Department with the ladies auxiliary. My husband is a volunteer firefighter and retired paramedic. He is currently a full time student working on a teaching credential. I love my family and my country! In what spare time I can find I love being creative. I find that I crave it. Right now I am into crocheting, and just obsessed with yarn! Scrapbooking is also one of my favorites, as I love to preserve my families photos. I am also really getting into repurposing crafts. There is something very satisfying about taking something that would be tossed away and making something useful/beautiful out of it. My husband is also an artist, he love to draw and does a lot of cartooning. I can see my 6 yr old son is taking after dad, as he is becoming quit the artist himself. I just love my family and being creative is so much fun!

I do love music! Right now I am into the Micheal Buble crooner types. It's mellow and there is something sexy about it. But really if you look at my iPod it is really all over the place. From my 80's favorites to Christmas music. I like a little fun dance music, especially when cleaning the house!

If I am not creating something, then I am reading. I like a good suspense/thriller or mystery. I really like to read cookbooks too! I know, sounds weird, but I love it. I don't usually follow recipes, but take from what I learn from cookbooks to make my own recipes. I love baking too! Homemade chocholate chip oatmeal and a cup of coffee....mmmmmmmm

We don't have cable in our home so we watch a lot of movies via netflix. I was on a Clive Owen kick there for a while, I just love him! My husband and I watch The Princess Bride every anniversary, it's our movie = ) Once in a while we get out to the theater. This last weekend we saw Sherlock Holmes... Super Goood!!!!!

Crochet, paper piecing, scrapbooking, card making, beaded earrings/necklaces, repurposed crafts - trash to treasure! I am willing to try most anything. My husband and I have started making homemade beer! It is so much fun! Our latest flavor is a porter style called chocolate covered cherries. mmmmmm.....

Have I mentioned I am obsessed with yarn. I love the colors and textures, and I make lots of hats and scarfs. My favorite colors are blues, browns and purples... really I have lots of favorite colors. My bathroom is in beach glass colors, washed out blues and tans. My favorite dishes are painted with colbalt blue and yellow. My kids' room is all in primary colors.
I do not have any allergies.
My scent preferences would be citrus-y or vanilla-y type smells. I LOVE coffee!!!!!! Good coffee, not the mass produced stuff in giant cans. I love the smell, taste, and the atmosphere it creates!

There is not to much I wouldn't like or appreciate.
