~~~~ Hello to you, my friend Sandy! ~~~~~ Thanks so much for the beautiful Rainbow Bridge post card. Once again, you know exactly what to send me. Sandy, you are so thoughtful and kind & actually, I don't have that postcard and I am so happy you sent it to me. It means alot to know that other people care and sympathize with what I am going through. Your card lifted my spirit and softened my heartache. I do miss my sweet, dear MaggieMae but those last few days of life she wasn't really my MaggieMae anyway, and she in no uncertain terms let me know it was time to let her cross the Rainbow Bridge. She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered. I am not sure when, but, I do plan on getting another doggie friend for my doxie mix Stanley who misses his sister and playmate so much. My cat, Lucy Belle, named after Lucille Ball (ha, ha) has been looking all over the house for her. My house is small, Sandy, but ever since Maggie crossed over it seems SO BIG and SO empty and hollow in this sad house. Thanks so much, Sandy. I am blessed to have you as a friend. ((((((((Sending you thank you hugs)))))))))) Carol/FF PS: Sorry, but you know me well enough by now to know that I can't write a short note...hope you don't mind. I will be in touch. Thanks!
Hi Sandy! What a nice surprise to receive your beautiful postcard. That was so nice of you, and I'm thrilled to add the card to my pc collection. Has the weather become any more tolerable for you yet? I sure hope so! You're right, looking at the postcard you sent helped to cool things down. How are you doing? I will write to you soon. Oh, it has been a difficult past few days for me. I had to put my 14 1/2 year old husky mix, Maggie, to sleep. I know it was the right thing to do, but it sure doesn't make it any easier. Thankfully, the poor baby will not be in any more pain or illness. Thanks again, Sandy, for the postcard and your lovely message on it. Take care, try to stay cool, Happy Swapping, and Happy Labor Day weekend! Hugs & Smiles, Carol :)
So happy it helped! Yes, dogs are my favorite as well, when I moved out for the first time I adopted my Bink from the SPCA, he will be my only "kitty" he is the best, and yes, he rules the dogs, he actually goes outside with them in the yard! Yes, ban the people, not the dogs! Have a great day!
Thank you so much for the great postcards! I love them both to pieces :) I agree it is great that there are so many good sights not a far ways drive from CO Springs (or Denver). That was very sweet of you to send them :). Sorry for my slow thank you, I was out of town.
Hi! I got your lovely letter today. Thanks so much for writing, I wish I wasn't so tired then I could reply tonight! Will reply soon though, oh and the postcard is great! Guess it goes without saying I'm definately not from Minnesota!
I love your Postcrossing avatar with the raccoon holding onto your mailbox. It is so cute. :)
