Hello dear friend I wanted to let you know I'm doing great finally from the surgery!!! Yay! I have been running like crazy for my daughters wedding making a quilt, 250 stoneware clay anchors and signs.... Etc. buying clothes for all my children.... But It has been on my mind lately.... I never thanked you for the grape bottle cap you made hot pad. Which seriously I adore..... It's too pretty to lay a hot pan on!!! I'm so amazed at how crafty you are..... I saw the tutorial but I worry about getting the swaps done as it is.....even though I can do them I just have no time. It's not fair to others so I don't do all that I would like to. You are right it truly is a work of art from the 1950's. I love it! I don't know if you remember but when I was little I would sit and look at Pack-O-Fun magazines that were the size of Readers Digest well I can still remember those books and how they would have things that were only around in those days like the computer paper with the holes etc. thanks again for your kindness. Hello dear Lu, YOU HAVE DONE IT AGAIN!!!! I got my box today my neighbor has been bringing me my mail, when she picks my boys up from school, and I had a sucky day....I was feeling depressed because I feel like a baby (if that is an appropriate word for this) I have someone do a lot for me. But everyday is getting better and now when I cough it doesn't hurt as much...so its all good! YOU MADE MY DAY!!! When I got the box I was like do I have Lu for a swap right now?? I know I was sending to you for the tag ???uhmmm! Lets open and see...and the cutest chick bag with a notepad and a tag, a wonderful card, the cutest sweetest little chicken ornament....oh my you find the cutest stuff. The sweet notecards by Mary Engelbreit with a "D" and a water can, which I have a water can addiction. Someone said its because I'm always a care giver??? I'm telling you YOU ARE THE BEST PERSON in this world!! You totally go above and beyond any expectations of anyone. TRULY means a lot my husband when he got home he said "we have to get her something" he just thought that was the sweetest ever! YOU REALLY BRIGHTENED MY DAY...and who's feeling depressed when they have friends like YOU!! THANK YOU sooooo MUCHO Grande!! <3 Many Hugs, Dawn
...and this is a fantastic one. My son saw the bottle cap pie magnets on my desk. He knew I was working on my own so he said, "These are really good!" Sadly, I had to admit that they weren't mine :( Then he said we should put these on the fridge-and he did.
Later (I'm still working on my own bottle cap pies. grrrr!) my daughter sees yours on the fridge and says how cute they are. Again, I had to admit they weren't mine. But they do look fabulous on my fridge!
I wanted you to know how much your swaps effect people, not just the ones you swap with!

Holy cow!!! Hi Ho Cherry-O!! You an amazing women, we left to go to the movies yesterday to see Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which is an excellent movie! So I get home and I asked my 16 yo what did we get in the mail? "You got some Stampin Up" what? SO I look and low and behold its from YOU. Oh my I opened it up and not only do you send the best swaps you make the packaging look so beautiful. THIS WAS NOT EVEN A SWAP I was in and You sent one anyway......you brought tears to my eyes for your generosity, thoughtfulness, and caring. I LOVE IT ALL!!! The cherries, the tag, oh my the most adorable magnet cherry pie, that I will put on my fridge and think of you everyday. The cookbooks, the recipe cards, the notepad and pen. The sweet stamp which btw I always am attracted to utensils. I did want to do the swap but I knew I couldn't get one more thing done before the surgery. Which I had a dream about last night that I ate brownies and I couldn't have the surgery....anxiety! LOL! I love the box of goodies and REALLY REALLY appreciate what you did! I will be showing everybody....I have been having visitors already. I think I am going to have to watercolor the card in my journal...it is so friggin adorable! THANKS SOOO VERY MUCH!!!
