About Me

I am a devoted wife, mom of 4 adorable kids, and a hard working 2nd Grade Teacher. I enjoy getting to spend the summer with my kiddos and amazing hubby.

I am a country chic, french country, rustic antique sort of gal. I like the soft muted colors, floral patterns, bead boards and chair railings ... Fav colors are turquoise, lilac, creamy lemon, and sage. We just bought a new house and I am in heaven trying to decorate it!

I love hand-made things and cherish the time one spends on making something so special in today's fast paced environment. I am not too keen on the kawaii scene and have not done ATCs before.

Favorite Music

COUNTRY!!! Rascall Flatts and the Judds are all time fav's!

Favorite Crafts

Scrapping and making cards, close second is sewing (anything from clothes to quilting to stuffies). I also love cake decorating.

Favorite Books

I am a die-hard Harry Potter fan ... Yes, I was standing in line at midnight when the last book was released! I am not into romance novels at all.

Favorite Movies

Sweet Home Alabama, Ever After, Robin Hood: Prince of Theives, Dirty Dancing

Favorite Television

I am also a Reality TV junkie (although I do think some of the shows go a bit too far) I like American Idol, So You Think You Can Dance, Biggest Loser, etc. Cop shows like Criminal Minds are also favs.

With that said, I wish to express my appreciation for sharing your "Jubilee Jumbles" recipe related to this swap. I enjoyed reading the recipe and it sounds TASTY. It is one I will look forward adding to my special recipe collection, A-Z Postcard Recipe Collection.
