Thanks for the kind comment, and words about my cakes! I love making cakes. I am self taught and learned by scoring a gig in a Safeway store (lol). There are lots of wonderful courses you can take at places like craft stores to get your foot in the cake door. Then go on-line where you'll find a wealth of public knowledge. Cakecentral.com is a great place to start!

I grew up in Mass. about 25 miles from the ocean. I went to see my family members there in July but I still miss the ocean. I don't miss the snow though. :-) I now live in New Mexico.

(I laughed for a full minute after reading fuzzbutts hehehe~) I like panda bears (except for the fact that they keep trying to sell me Chinese food through the TV) and polar bears were my first real obsession. I still sleep nightly with Bear-bear, my 18 year old stuffed polar bear. My heart goes out to you about Ichi..I've had a very similar experience and I can tell you with 1,000% certainty that he knew, without a shadow of a doubt, your love and caring in letting him pass from this life. I'm also super glad I'm in your "Awesome Things" list.. I'm Thai. Hahahah~ I also love Japanese culture; music, especially. :D
