Hi! Nice to meet someone who lives so close by! Relatively speaking anyway. I live near the top of the 404 in Mount Albert! It would be fun to meet some day. I am also a huge animal lover. As a teen, I struggled with the choice to become a nurse or a vet tech. Most animals love me. I have to apologize profusely for being late sending. When I first was told about zentangles, my mind was like:
But, I was on sketch club (it's an app that costs $2.99 on IOS) and my fellow artists created the patterns that you would use for a zentangle and turned them into "brushes" to help me grasp what I was doing. So, I drew out my picture as line art, then used the brushes to fill in the areas. It helped me conceptually understand zentangles. Now I'm like this:

I love that you doodle flowers and then turn them into ATCs! I doodle flowers a lot, too. I have a basic daisy-style flower and a kind of stylized poinsettia that I do the most.
It can take a little time to get into Zentangle, but it's a lot of fun. I actually have a hard time following the "official" Zentangle patterns, so tend to make my own when I do any crafty stuff that may look better with them.
I am so jealous that you lived in Greece! I've wanted to visit there for YEARS now!
I had to smile when I read that you like Ferrero Küsschen. This is one of my favourite chocolate as well!! Did you know that "Küsschen" in german means little kiss? I think it is very fitting :)
Also I find it really cool that you were able to live in such interesting places!! You do not have by any chance a postcard from Nigeria? (Sorry can't halp it - I am crazy about postcards haha).
Oh oh and I will look out for the elephants with uplifting trunks now and think of you when I see one :) I never new it is good luck when they lift it up :) So nice ^^
