Hello! I'm Tammy and I'm one of your partners in the Carolina Gals: Read Profile & Comment swap. Actually, we've swapped so many times that I feel like I know you. I wished we lived closer, I would love to look at your quilts and maybe go get a cup of coffee.
Do you ever put beadwork on your quilts? What kind of quilt classes do you teach and where?
Happy Swapping and Happy New Year!
Tammy
Hello Sue, I am your partner for Carolina Gals - Read Profile & Comment. Reading your profile I saw that we are interested in similar 'crafts.' I would love to see some of the 'art quilts' that you have created. You stated that you would like to do more beadwork, is this something that you are incorporating on the art quilts? I have a quilt that I am hand quilting...I guess I need to get it out and complete it! You are encouraging me! I also like games on the computer. Passes the time when I have nothing else to do!!! I presented two 'craft' classes at my church recently. They are interested in a Fall show. I may have to ask questions on how you prepare for a show. I also enjoy zentangles. Keep tangling...it becomes addictive. I have seen where quilters have used tangle patterns when sewing their quilt tops, very interesting look. Have a wonderful day. See ya at the mail box. Susan
Hey Sue, I am one of your partners for the Carolina Gals :: Read Profile & Comment swap. I see we live only about an hour or so way from each other, have you always lived in the Calabash area? All of that area has really grown since I was a little girl. We use to go and eat there once a month, because my Grandparents loved this little resturant there. I think it was the smallest one on that main strip. My sister I always begged to eat at the bigger place, but the answer was always "NO". When I was old enough to go with some friends we tried the other places, but the Grand parents were right, that little place was the BEST!!
Wow, you are a talented lady, I would love to learn to sew and quilt, but I haven't found a teacher for beginners yet. Most of the places "beginner" classes are not true beginners! This girl here needs to know everything! lol What is Redwork? It sound very interesting.
Hopefully The Carolina Gals group will have a meetup this year,I would love to meet everyone...I hope you have a wonderful and crafty New Year... Connie
