I am a retired teacher aide in junior high. I substitute teach in my local school district as often as I can. I have a B.S. in Education and am certified to teach junior high-high school. I have three children and six grandchildren. I live in a very small community, but have spent several years in Georgia and North Carolina.
đ𼰠I need to send out a huge âThank you!â to all the participants in the swaps I have/am hosting. I appreciate each and every one of you also enjoying what I like to create.
I try to run most of my envelopes with postal approval, but if I ever send a swap and there is postage due...please, please let me know. I will promptly send stamps to make up for the postage due. đ
Much time can be spent on creating and mailing a swap. A prompt rating is appreciatedâŚif nothing else, I know the swap was received.
NEW FOR 2022
Trying to find my niche in this crafty world. It seems as though I am most relaxed when I am collaging and layering. Master boards have become a bit of an obsession. I have been leaning towards vintage, which is where I started. Loving anything Tim Holtz right now. My new favorite YouTube channels are Ruby&Pearlxo and Root Pursuit. One has a soft vintage feminine side and the other is all about the practical. Just curious to see where this new realization takes me.
Following Marguerite Millerâs Collage Challenge.
Trying to step out of comfort zone to create things I have never tried before.
Use what I have!
I would love to receive items in the color yellow! Scrap papers and ephemera would be so great! My yellow supply is almost nil.
Used postage stamps, please! I would be so happy!

I have met some very lovely swappers on this site. Even though we havenât met in person, I feel I have friends here. I have been given encouragement, advice, and have received swaps and goodies that have brought tears of joy to my eyes. It can be a very special place!
I love to create but sometimes have no one to share anything with so I thought a swap group would be the answer. I really am enjoying the fact that I can pick and choose my interests and when I want to swap. I love the mail when it arrives and the beautiful creations made for me. I love trying new things to create as long as I can view a picture or tutorial.
