Make sure you put your full explanation right below the 3 rating she gave you dear - this will make it easier for swap hosts to get the whole story if they check your profile. This person obviously is one of many who only sign up here so they can do the annual Freshly Blended ornament swap, and there are many problems with it because these people are not regular members of SB and do not take the time to understand the etiquette followed here. I doubt any host will hold the 3 against you.
stumbled across your profile. I know just what you mean about your 3 rating. I was a mess when I got mine. I actually had an anxiety attack. Mine was sort of my fault, I mailed one day late (but I DID let her know). But to have it not even be your fault. That is so not cool.
Don't let the 3 get to you. I got my first one this past week as well...my partner originally rated me 5 but then changed it to a 3 when she saw I rated her a 5. Some people are so ridiculous. I left a comment on your partner's profile. People do look at the circumstances and since she only completed 1 swap in a year, I doubt it would affect you, not to mention her profile is bare! i'm surprised she was accepted in to a swap like that!
