words, books, magazines, zines, coffee, tea (especially Teekanne from Germany and Davidson's), cocoa, leaves, trees, peppermint, squirrels, sunshine, rain, caramel, quiet, classical and acoustic guitar, chocolate (the darker the better!), surprises, flowers, letters, art, sheep, alpacas, yarn, international foods and drinks, soft things, warm things, vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon together, stories, lollipops, handwritten letters or even typed letters, Pigma Micron pens, Zig pens, ATC supplies, your favorite book (or a list of your favorite books, even!), songs, and socks in crazy colors...

I would really like

something to hold my growing collection of ATCs!!! And also, to receive letters and any artistic endeavors you'd like to undertake and share with me. Although I don't do paper crafts I still appreciate the art. I'd love to receive your ATCs,sketches, paintings, photos, poems, stories, songs, knit things, crochet things, sewn things... anything you'd like to share will have a place of honor in our home.

Colors, colors, colors

I like earth colors; greens, earthy blues, taupe (okay, all shades of brown), deep reds, mauve. Let me put it this way. If I ever wore anything bright my mother would faint. Then again -- if you've seen those self-patterning socks yarns? I do have some pretty wild socks... (oh, and for the sock yarns -- please no Maizy [the yarn made from corn] or alpaca blends -- they're itchy on my feet!). :) Oh yeah, and I love purple and orange -- together.

Comment: Thanks for the postcard & book recommendation! I loved the Reader (I read half before seeing the movie in theaters and then finished it after watching he movie). It definitely did make me think. I've never heard of A Long Long Way, so I'll definitely have to look that up. Thanks!

Comment: Dear Rebecca, Thank you so much for the wonderful painting you sent. It's very detailed and there's no trace of 'daunting' nor 'frustration' in it. If this is the result of not practicing enough, think of what you can accomplish with more practice eh. But I know what you mean about painting. It's not my strong suit and sometimes I find it daunting and frustrating as well. But there are times it's worth it to go through all that and find the creative joy of just painting. ;) I love your work. Thanks again for sending it. P.S. My apologies if it took me a while to rate you. :( I'm usually on top of rating right away but work got a bit hectic and toxic in the past weeks.

Comment: thank you so much for the new author. I belong to a book trading group on internet, so immediately put her books on my wish list. Also thank you for the knitting patterns, that was so nice of you, I am knitting baby cocoons right now for a baby shower, but I will try the ones you sent, I will send you some of my favorites that I use over and over. This has been fun, I love Diana Gabaldin too, my daughter and I discuss who would play Jamie and Clair when they make a movie out of Outlander. LOL
