Hi! I'm Cynthia, but most people call me Cyndi. Yep, like Cyndi Lauper, and yes I am just about that old. ha ha.

I am the mother to a 10 year old girl. I love doing artsy, crafty things of all kind. I live in the mountains of NC, but am a beach bum at heart. I have lived in 4 different states, and overseas, and love to travel. I have been to several states, and 4 different countries so far.

I am opinionated, and pretty open. I love snark, and snarky things. I occasionally swear, but I am trying to tone it down, and I dont mind if something has swear words on it. I also dont mind religious things. I have a warped sense of humor and love to laugh.

I am a Duke fan, and love Duke Basketball.

I am starting into making ATCs, and have made a few pocket letters so far. I love all kinds of crafting though from dabbling in crocheting and knitting, to painting, to jewelry making and various other things. You can find me dabbling in some kind of craft all the time.

If you ever have a question, just ask, I am pretty open about most things. I love just about any color, but purple is my absolute favorite. Right now though I adore teal and turquose, but honestly I love pretty much all of them. I love pages from books. Especally in other languages. I love getting old books with yellow pages and using them in my art. I tend to love to cut apart book pages and junk mail to have words for collaging into pieces too.

I have a list a mile long of favorite shows. I love all different kinds of music and movies, and right now am just now seeing Jane Austin movies..... insane, I know right?

I love to read, no scratch that, I devour books. If I like it, I usually can read a novel in a couple of days. I just started Pride and Prejudice and am in LOVE. Seriously why am I just now reading Austin's works???

I love to draw, take pictures, write, and dabble in just about anything.

I am not fond of most teas. One thing I prefer is nothing with OMG on it, or pentagrams, but I love halloween and horror. I just don't like it. Other than that I am pretty ok with most things.

I absolutely love having fun with art. If you are being creative and thoughtful and having fun, then I will be happy with whatever you swap with me. I love colorful things, but I also adore black and white art as well.

My favorite art styles include Japanese style or influence, and maybe that is because I lived there for 3 years, and it rubbed off on me. I love Kawaii things, but I am warped and love some things on a less cutesy side as well. I am into zombies and those kinda things too. I am truely an eclectic mix. I have always loved art deco, and art nouveau style. If it looks like it came out of the great gatsby or that era, I seem drawn to it. I also love victorian era style art too. But you can catch me almost anywhere in an art museum. I love just about any style, but if I had to pinpoint one style over another it would be Georges Seurat. There is something about those dots and how it just turns into a beautiful piece of work. I personally love pointillism and have done several pieces using just dots. Tedious but relaxing at the same time. I love abstract art, and realistic. I am seriously eclectic. Jackson Pollack, Monet, Van Gogh, Seurat, Ansel Adams, Dali, I adore the wimsey of Magritte, Andy Warhol, DaVinci, but I enjoy discovering less known artists too. I enjoy all kinds of different styles and abilities.
