i live in san francisco and love exploring the city with my husband.

paper. ribbon. mushrooms. cookbooks. cupcakes. polaroids. sipping coffee in cafes. people watching. vintage fabric. flea markets. farmers markets. aranzi aronzo & decole & sanrio. scandinavian design. fashion & design & japanese magazines. typography. letterpress. letter writing (& letter reading!). taking pictures. spending hours in a bookstore. buying one too many treats at bakeries. taking trips & learning about new cultures & how people live.

Favorite Music

my favorites are weezer, green day, rancid, jimmy eat world, camera obscura and belly but you'll find everything from old school rap to country to girl group/boy bands on my ipod

Favorite Books

the time traveler's wife, confessions of max tivoli, the secret history, kitchen by banana yoshimoto

i also love classic children's books, books on food and travelling, and coffee table books full of pretty pictures

Favorite Movies

amelie, the warrior and the princess, spellbound, all wes anderson movies, science of sleep, almost famous, goonies, cinema paradiso

I Collect

tea cups & saucers/dessert plates in shades of blue or red

photographs of coffee, cafes, people drinking coffee

i love the magical woodland world of mushrooms & hedgehogs & deer & owls & trees & the occasional gnome so i collect things that relate to that

Colors

i like shades of grey, robin's egg blue, tomato soup red

Not For Me

realistic animal/people images, anything too flowery, disney, religous or new age-y

And the recipe cards are awesome - actually I found some like this when I went to NYC last October and was dreaming of getting more !!! looks like you read my mind.
