About Me
hi everyone, my name is stephanie. i'm currently 22 years old. i just graduated from uni back in sept 2020. i majored in english and specialised in literature. now, i'm working a normal office job, nothing much. other than that, i usually takes a side job in translating scholarly paper.
i speak few languages (indonesian, english and a little bit of swedish) and currently learning german, japanese, and korean. other than languages, i am also fascinated with the way of living of people with defferent cultures! so tell me bits and pieces of being (insert your ethnicity/nationality here).
i love snailmailing and postcrossing. just started snailmailing this year, despite the fact that i loved seeing my greatgranny getting letters from overseas since childhood. i have been postcrossing since my sophomore year in uni, but i lost my handle. however, i started again in january 2021. can't wait to see you guys on my mailbox!
Favorite Music
i really love classical (tchaik is my favourite composer!), jazz (any chet baker and yokko kanno fans here?), j-pop (yorushika and king gnu!) and k-pop (just around 2nd gen and red velvet). but i listened to every genre that could capture my attention. but those four are dominating my playlist for now.
Favorite Books
i love high fantasy and young adult fiction. but what's best (sometimes) are the combination of them. my absolute favourite since childhood are lord of the rings trilogy and harry potter.
On Swap
for postcard swap, my favourites are illustrated postcards, but you don't have to cater to that! i don't really mind what you sent me! I'm really grateful for every single postcard that i receive! but please, tell me a little bit about yourself/country/culture/etc. also, don't forget to put the date on the postcard :D
for other swaps, i really like stationary (been hoarding stickers, wooden stamps and sticky notes/memopad lately), tea (earl grey, mango & cream and other tea with fruity notes are my favourites!), and anything that on the neutral/monochrome/blue side of the colour palette. you does not really have to fulfill this, but feel free to add anything else if you think i'd like it.
i wil appreciate it if you did not include any of these items in this list: - dairy (i'm lactose intolerant) - non decaf coffee/tea (caffeine gives me anxiety jitters) - kiddy things (unless it's sanrio, then it's fine) - glitter and neon

IMPORTANT NOTES
due to covid-19, indonesian postal service "technically" open its services to these 9 countries: Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Hongkong, Taiwan, Mainland China, Japan, South Korea, and USA.
however, the regulations are quite lax, and sending letters to other countries definitely can be done, even though it takes quite a while (3 months, at the very least). I hope you can understand this issue :)
