I crochet and I have crocheted for 64 years. I would love to trade crocheted items with other people. And I would also like to trade books as I love to read. Would love to be surprised by the things I have traded ! I love colorful things. I don't like scary movies or anything of the occult world.
Lately I am interested in different kinds of bookmarks. Tantalizing teas are also welcome. Any thing that is useable is always welcome.I have two grown children but no grand children. I teach crochet at two local tech schools as well as english. I am an animal lover. I have 4 cats; Rose, Earbob,Legs, Arms and my cat Eyeball has left for some reason . I live in the middle of 12 acres of land called Tugboat Mountain. My Donkey, Meshack , died January 2018. I had him for 17 years and he was a wonderful friend. All animals are precious. Sometimes I think I like animals better than people. I also love different and colorful buttons.

I like almost any kind of music Bruce Springsteen, Bob Marley and the old country and western music. I also write songs and record them onto cds. I don't like hard rock.

I like cook books, poetry and short novels.And I love to read. I love John Steinbeck's The Winter of Our Discontent, Stephen King writing as Richard Bachman,"Thinner." I also read the bible daily and always find something new. The story of Shadrack,Meshack and Abendago always makes me smile. What an awesome God we serve.

My favorite movies are the spaghetti westerns with Clint Eastwood . And all of Robin Williams films. As well as Steve McQueen movies

My favorite television is the westerns on Saddle up Saturday. Wanted dead or alive, Bonanza , Gunsmoke , and others.

Crochet is my favorite craft and of course I love sewing too. Lately I am making bowl cozies . I'm finding new material and unusual patterns. Bookmarks are also fun to make and I enjoy creating new and different ones out of all kinds of fabric and and materials.

I love almost any kind of food except for lobster and snake and alligator . I'm in love with fried chicken although I don't eat much beef I do like catfish, salmon and shrimp. I adore chocolate and keebler's pecan sandie cookies. I like pancakes and could eat them 24 /7. I am also in love with bacon. I love to make fresh yeast rolls and cinnamon rolls too. The smell in the kitchen when baking is amazing. Although I don't have many in my home now, I give my baked goods away to friends and neighbors. They enjoy them.
