I am in my 70s enjoying life to the fullest and wish to share some of my love for life with others. I have pen-pals all over the globe who who recieve letters and return letters back. Animals are always welcome here as all the locals can atest to cats, dogs geese, chickens goats, and a donkey are a few of the mix. Living in the country you look at the world around you a lot differently than people in the city.
Music of most kinds I enjoy but for to long I don't as quite is music of it's own. Now books I have never seen a book that I would not like to read and learn from. You guessed it there are a lot of books around here covering many subjects. Now movies I don't watch to many, animal, documentaries, and true fact ones are the best for my air time. Crafts I have tried most and enjoy them all sewing, bead work, drawing, painting are some of the ones I do most. Am learning to play the piano and taking courses over the internet. Well filled out profile? That is what you keep asking for, there is no definition of what I like but here goes. I asked to be in your company because I wanted to learn from you. I like just about everything that nature made. My favorite color? I don't have one. When it comes to clothes I like fall colors only really, really bright like work man yellow and orange. If it sparkles or glitters or makes you plink I like it. Crafts I have tried most every thing as I have said at least once. I want to learn what other people do with the common things. How they make things from paper or leaves or moss or a bent can. I make butterfly's out of feathers, parakeet feathers, also make oil paintings that flow out over the frame into our demention, so it can blow in the breeze. I also make things from beads, sequiens, folded paper,yarn- like way out socks, dolls that you wear and bed covers that have tassels and pom poms. Nature has a facsination for me when I am out there I see branches that can be used for carved walking sticks, which I collect, and colorful leaves to use later. Right now I am building a shed using eight foot triangles and it is proving a real challenge. My canning is done for the year except the persimmons. Did you know you can predict the coming winter weather by looking at the center of a persimmon seed? You will see a fork, spoon, or knife shape. Each shape means some thing different. Cats are my most loved pet animals only because they seem to understand me and tolerate all the crazy things I do. They like to play in my ribbons that I make pictures out of that look like feathers on clothes or shawls. The dogs and peacocks watch out for me and keep me safe from strangers but never join in my crafts, only their feathers and fur. When you read this this anything you decide to send will be great. Please tell me how you would use it.
If you would like a pen pal please write on snail mail after you leave me a message here stating you want my address. Or you can try my e-mail address but I still have trouble with the internet going down. The last five days that service has been down due to storms. I live way out there where phone service forever spotty. Most of the time you want make a phone call you drive five miles to the bridge or you climb up a ladder and set on the roof that works some time. Now my friends I hope this tells you a little about me and how crazy I can be. Pen-Pal welcome
