Description:

I love vintage gift wrap and I dislike junk mail. This swap will take advantage of both likes and dislikes!

You will have one partner. Let's pull some vintage gift wrap from our stashes. Come on, I know you gotta have some or you wouldn't be in this group, right? Now, cut and/or punch several pieces (rectangles, squares, circles, random pieces) to be used for mail art, card making, zines, whimsy jars, etc. from at least 5 different sheets of vintage gift wrap. If you don't have enough, you can also cut from vintage greeting cards. You will cut enough to stuff a business-size envelope.

Now, here is the second part -- rather than tossing one of those annoying junk mail return envelopes, use it to send the gift wrap cuttings. Decorate the outside of the envelope with paper, pictures, cartoons, paint, stickers, or other fun art. If there is a little window in the envelope, frame a picture; make your partner smile! And, most of all -- have fun!

Keep in mind, you could be sending an International envelope so this is a flat-mail, not too heavy swap, but do include some nice cuttings.

Please contact me before joining this swap if you have any recent 1s or 3s. This is my first swap to coordinate in this group, so do let me know if this is too confusing, or if I've forgotten anything.

Be careful if there is a barcode on the envie. Cover it with sharpie or it may end up back at the junk sender!

How big should the scraps be?

Thank you for the reminder @misscorbeau We don't want to send a treat to the junk sender!

The scraps can be any size that fits in your envelope, actual scraps or punched out shapes just as long as they are clean and can be used in a craft of some kind.

Thanks for your interest, help and questions!
