I look forward to swapping with you. My rating is very important to me. Please let me know if you do not receive a swap or if I've failed to meet your expectations. I want to make it right.
Tomorrow is the Autumn Equinox - I love fall time, the colors and pumpkin pie! In Oregon we need the cooler weather and rain. Many families lost their homes in the wildfires. Smoke was the main problem in my area. I was one of the fortunate. Others have to start with nothing.
Who am I? I am Christian and trust in God for the salvation he provides through his son, Jesus.
In October, I will have survived 6 years without my late husband. I miss him more every day. But, God has provided.
I have one daughter, three grown granddaughters and one great-grandaughter. My daughter and husband just moved to NJ. The granddaughters are in AZ, FL and the youngest just moved back to OR.
I like Oregon rain. Lived here all my life except for a few years in the San Francisco Bay area. Couldn't wait to return to Oregon. I'd prefer the Oregon coast, actually, but I'd miss all my friends here.
I have one cat, Tinkerbell. She will be 16 this spring (2020) She is my loving companion.
I am retired. Before isolation I enjoyed tag sales, thrift stores and flea markets. Most of my days are now full of socializing on the computer and crafting. I enjoy paper and mixed media.
Cute birds, chickens, owls, cats, vintage toys & images, and Victorian steampunk (no skulls or goth please). I also like whimsical and playful (not Disney, but more vintage looking like 40s & 50s book pages).
I favorite postcards to collect are animals or birds with umbrellas.
I also collect vintage ephemera: Victorian Trading Cards, Vintage greeting cards, Single Swap Playing Cards (especially cats, owls, and unusual jokers) unusual cancelled postage stamps. All of my collections include used and unused paper items.
I'm a child at heart and enjoy fun, playful themes. I also enjoy vintage era graphics (40s - 50s).
Think of Handmade, vintage, part packages, gently used from your stash first. Other people's trash is my treasure LOL.
I tend to prefer muted colors over primary colors and I like yellow and lime green for all seasons. I also like "unexpected" color combinations.
For flat surprises, I can use:
I try to be thankful for any gift received, but some things just don't work for me due to my allergies: perfumes, soaps, lotions, candles, and some foods.
Tea and coffee samples are fine.
Although I'm a Christian I don't care for crosses, pictures of Christ, or most Christian imagery. I prefer items with scripture and a flower or other non-religious pictures.
Please do not send skulls, goth, fairies, nudes, and such. I don't celebrate Halloween and also don't care much for elves, Santas, fantasy, surreal or cutesy, but will re-gift to someone who has these listed as favorites.
