I'm Tammy and have lived in Idaho just 2 years. Previously from Southern California and I love the beach! I've also lived in the desert area so living by sand has been my life till Idaho!

I've been married for 30 years to a wonderful man and have 2 grown daughters that I homeschooled their entire career. I inherited a schnauzer mix dog, Ramsey, who has been my sidekick for over 3 years. Poor guy has anxiety but is doing the best he can.

I love the Lord Jesus and attend a wonderful church. I am currently reading The One Year Chronological Bible Expressions. It is a big one as it has room for notes and some lovely line art and lettering for coloring. I have personally read aloud through many books of the Bible and have video recordings of it on Gab platform. I started making the videos as a gift for my granddaughter because she and her family lived 2000 miles away, but now they are here with us in Idaho! I can read to her personally anytime!!! All that recording made me comfortable with myself and now I am an instructor on the Skillshare platform. I also show much of my art on Instagram. You will probably see what I am sending in my swaps!

I love to learn, look for the positive, and I collect things like old classic books, ephemera, art supplies, watercolor, pencils, inks, roses, shells, and jewelry. I like to organize, check things off my to-do list, and am a person of my word. I send early and rate quickly. I especially like thrifting and a favorite place I frequent is a craft supply thrift store!

I love sending and receiving happy mail! My favorite art is making collage, mixed media, zines, watercolor, brush lettering, making circuit stickers, doodling and creating envelope art. I can crochet and mostly make dish rags and beanies. I enjoy handwriting notes and Bible verses.

Likes: vintage, die cuts, gel prints, stencils, foreign language book pages, watercolor sample dots, stickers, impressionism art, old book pages, nature, children's book illustrations, washi, postcards, found words, quotes and sayings, fabric, lace, vintage clip art, textured papers, double sided scrapbook paper. I'm always needing botanical die cuts for my collage.

Fan of old movies like Arsenic and Old Lace, Imitation of Life, and Rear Window. I like suspense shows like Hitchcock but don't like gore and horror. Classic book reader here and love authors Jane Austen, CS Lewis, and Irving Stone. I rarely re-read a book (too many I haven't read) but I have re-read The Secret Garden, Little Women, and To Kill a Mockingbird and always find something new in them. I prefer YA books and especially Newbery Award books. I'm currently reading P. G. Wodehouse (author). Just finished Till We Have Faces. Currently reading Dark Frigate.

I especially like handmade gifts. I appreciate time spent in creating and then sharing your talent with me! You inspire me to keep creating by your creativity! I heart liberally. Swapping is an effort and I want to show my appreciation in this way!

Dislikes: kiddie stickers (although I will pass them onto my granddaughter), fluorescent/neon colors, vulgar language, gore, romance or popular fiction, and I rarely see current movies. I don't need food or drink items. No scented anything. Also dislike non-raters.
