Several years ago we moved from Oregon to be near our son and grandchildren in Florida. We live on the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, or the Emerald Coast as it is called here.

Besides many kinds of art, I like spending time with family, genealogy, reading, and container gardening. It is much too hot in the summer for me to garden outdoors so I like caring for my indoor plants in the living room bay window. I also enjoy sending and receiving postcards through Postcrossing

My husband and I are animal lovers, especially cats and dogs. We lost our sweet lab Sophie, a rescue, in early 2024. Then we adopted another lab, Zoey, who is a lovable cuddler. We like to adopt older dogs no one else wants, then give them the best life we can.

Although I appreciate the thought, I don't need extras. I don't give ratings based on them. I have gobs of papers and, honestly, just don't need more.
