I updated my profile on February 20, 2018.
I am Beth from Oregon, USA. I'm married. We don't have children, but we do have a small cat who brings us great joy & a little fur or is that great fur and a little joy?! ;)
I am a born-again Christian. Jesus Christ is my Savior.
Besides paper crafting, a few things I enjoy are:
Random things that make me happy:
I LOVE playing with pretty papers and pretty washi tapes. I make cards and envelopes for swapping, writing to my pen pals, and to encourage and bless my Christian friends.
It's had to resist buying colorful 12x12 scrapbook papers when they're on sale. When I look at them I immediately envision all the colorful envelopes I can make from them.
I also love to take plain envelopes and decorate them with colorful washi tapes. There are seemingly endless color combinations and themes for this sticky material which as I always say, "There is absolutely no excuse for sending out swaps in plain envelopes when we have colorful washi tapes!"
I love to experiment with creative lettering for addresses on envelopes.
I've been a rubber-stamper for over 15 years.
FAVORITE THEMES: Flowers, song birds, cats, butterflies, dragonflies, tea/coffee, postal or pen pal related (mailboxes/letters/postage stamps/snails*/pens). I love these same themes in a whimsical flair. * whimsical snails only please.
FAVORITE COLORS: All the happy, colorful ones! LOL. For papers, I prefer bright colors (not neon) over khaki and beige tones. My "go-to" colors right now seem to be pink, green, and blue; however, it doesn't mean that I won't be happy with other colors too. For metallics, I'll take gold, copper, and bronze over silver.
We all have our own likes and what you like might not necessarily be what I like. Below is a list of things I do not care to receive.
Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and learn a little bit about me and what I like. It's appreciated and really makes all the difference to me to know you took time to put thought into your packages. It takes them beyond just "checking the box," and moving on to the next swap. It's the difference that can totally make someone's day. I always read the profiles of my partners for this reason. I would rather send things they are happy with and can use, rather than things they will toss away - even if a swap says it's sender's choice. So, thanks again! ♥
I always send out my swaps. If for some reason you do not receive a swap from me, please send me a PM or an e-mail before rating me poorly and I will do the same for you.
I will rate upon receiving your swap or shortly thereafter. I would appreciate you doing the same for me.
