Description:

This is a rare swap for the Edibles group: a flat mail swap! If you're like me, you start off the new year with a renewed dedication to eating right. I always like to try out new recipes in January.

  • Let's send a healthy recipe on a postcard to each of our 3 partners. (Edited to 1 partner)

  • The recipe is "sender's choice" as long as it would be generally viewed as a healthy one.

  • The postcard may be store-bought or nicely handmade.

  • Be sure to include your Swap-bot user name and the swap name on the postcard.

  • I usually don't mention hearts in my swap descriptions, but I will ask on this one that you are generous in your ratings, as it is not as easy to make a postcard "heart worthy" as it is to do so with a package. Please consider the small details when rating, such as adding a little note in addition to a recipe, taking your profile likes into consideration with the recipe or postcard selection, sending a special postcard, adding an interesting stamp, or any other extra effort or attention to detail. THANKS!

  • As always, it is expected that Edibles group swaps will be sent on time. In the rare event that you must be a little late, please contact your partner and the swap host before the due date passes.

I wish each of you a wonderful, delicious, inspiring 2012!

I received a question wondering if it's OK to write the recipe on a postcard but enclose it in an envelope with another small item. That's completely fine with me--not required, but a nice idea.

If you are a postcard/stamp collector who strongly prefers to receive "naked" postcards, please clearly note that here for your partner. :-)
