Description:

Don't get me wrong, I love the weathered appearance when it comes to recieving postcards, but there are a couple of reasons I like to recieve them in envelopes. The first and foremost is that I also collect stamps, and it's quite hard, if not near impossible to get stamps off postcards without damaging either one. Also, accidents do happen, big rips from the postoffice can ruin perfectly good p/cs. Another reason I like to recieve them in envelopes is if I already have that postcard, I might be able to swap it with someone else if it doesn't have a stamp on it. This is not such a biggy, since I don't have a huge collection just yet, but maybe one day I might! Oh, and it keeps prying eyes from seeing what you are up to with your mail!!!

So, I have created a swap where we can trade postcards with each other, but they must be sent in an envelope. Rules:

  • Send in envelope
  • Bought postcards only please.
  • Write something on the back, anything will do (e.g This is from my hometown, I hope you like it. Signed....).
  • Hearts go to postcards selected with some care(hint look in your partners profiles)!
  • You will send ONE postcard to each of your FOUR partners.

Open to newbies, and anyone with a 4.5 rating or higher.

International.

Please let me know i you host this again in the future! I don't think I can go out and postcard shop anytime soon.

I am confused about one item. If I write on the back of the postcards than the recepient won't be able to reuse the postcards. How about a short note included with the postcards? I am ready to send the cards, but I will wait a day or two. Thanks for taking the time to answer this.

Sorry I didn't see your comment before coolwicca, I know it's probably too late to make a difference now! You have a good point there, and if I make this swap again I will definetly correct that. There was really no need to write on the back, incase, like you said, the person wants to reuse it.
