Description:

Do you often wish that people were more educated about your condition? Or do you hear that someone has the same condition as you and wonder if maybe they do something different that might help you? That's what this swap is about. I came up with eleven questions, but feel free to add more and feel free to elaborate as much as you want on your answers.,

QUESTIONS

*1. What is your "Chronic Condition" or the "Chronic Condition" of the person you care for?

*2. How long have you/they been diagnosed with this condition?

*3 Is there anything that makes you feel better?

*4. Is there anything that makes you feel worse?

*5. Please explain how your condition effects you.

*6. Is there something you wish that others understood about your condition, but you feel that they don't?

*7 How has your condition changed your lifestyle?

*8 Do you have a job? What is it? full-time/ part-time.

*9 What is your age?

*10 Do you feel that being a member of swap-bot helps your condition?

*11 This last question is for anything else you'd like to add and I didn't think of..........

My #11 will be: what can others do or not do, say or not say that makes a difference to you.

My questions are related to side effects. What are some of the side effects of your treatment/medication/condition? How do you deal with the side effects? Are the side effects worse than the original condition? Is there an alternative treatment that might have fewer side effects?

Right now is that the cancer treatment is "over" and I expect to be declared in remission soon. However, I will have to take thyroid hormone replacement for the rest of my life. Trying to balance the dosage is creating a ton of little issues that are adding up to create huge problems for me. I feel that the cure has been worse than the cancer ever was.
