I am a poet and a poetry lover. I've been looking for a poetry swap, and I haven't seen one so I thought I would create my own!

This swap is newbie-friendly(with a completely filled-out profile), and international. I reserve the right to ban anyone who seems sketchy.

March's Theme is Spring!

To fulfill the swap, you will send 2 poems via postal mail. One poem will be a poem YOU wrote on the theme. One poem will be a poem written by someone else pertaining to the theme. You will have a little more than 2 weeks to write your poem and another week to send after the sign-up date.

Please comment if you are a) Interested in a Europe-only or US-only version b) interested in an electronic version c) interested in a monthly challenge d) Have any further questions that I haven't answered!

Hello sunnybea. thanks for hosting this. How will I send it? Can I send it on a postcard or on an envelope?

Thanks for hosting this swap -- and it reminds me that April is National Poetry Month and I will post a poetry swap soon to celebrate that. Keep an eye open for it.

@taidgh I thought it would be best in an envelope because it's more than one poem. I think it would be hard to get two on a postcard!

@junemoon I love the Poem-A-Day Challenge at the Writer's Digest poetry blog, and I was thinking of doing a Swap-bot version! Would you be interested?

you're right sunnybea I only realised that afterwards it would have to be something like a haiku for it to be short enough. thanks for the reply.

@sunnybea and @Junemoon I created a swap called NaPoWriMo swap-bot poetry journal. It can be compared to the Writer's Digest version. Check it out :)

Sorry to delay assigning partners! I've forgotten my password and can only log on from home where it's saved. I was at my parents' house, so here we go!
