Description:

Holy crap! Halloween is coming! My favorite holiday.

For this swap, we will be creating Halloween themed altered art shrines. The Halloween theme is not just limited to the iconic orange & black color scheme, black cats and witches; Day of the Dead, Gothic and overall creepy interpretations are welcome here as well. Bloody guts, not so much.

The shrine itself can be a regular sized Altoids tin, sardines can, reclaimed jewelry box or other box (I'm eying a 2 oz. Russell Stover box right now) - or even a box shape constructed completely from scratch. Try and stick to around 3.5"-4" in size. Alter it as you wish: add a base, make it hangable, give it legs - make it something your Crappy Sister would be proud to display!

Some linky loo's for inspiration:

The swap graphic is a shrine I made for a swap last year. You can view it larger here and see the reverse side here.

I'm quite excited for this swap! I have the perfect box, from a wallet my hubby bought awhile back. "Why on earth do you save that crap?" asked he. Ha!

question! i have an altoids tin thats 1.5 x 3.5 - is that okay? the completed size will end up much bigger than that...

I'm a moron and forgot today is Columbus Day and the PO is closed. Swap deadline extended to tomorrow so nobody has to send "late" on account of me.
