Description:

Have not seen any photography swaps lately and I just know there are a few of you out there that would love to show and swap a photo you have taken. Since Fall is just around the corner and like here in Tennessee some trees have leaves afalling, let us take a photo of autumn.

Suggestion is that if it is a different season in your country this Sept../ October time then make note on it and send to your swapper. It would be great to see what seasons look like in different countries from the USA..

I have seen some homes already decorated for the season, some stores have displays. If you live near the mountains or took photos last year, let us see them and swap them.

International and for newbies. Newbies must have a filled out profile, not just a sentence. No 1's this year. 3's I will check to see if I should ban or not.

Send one photo either made into a postcard or put in an envie. Give a description of it and your swap name and name of swap. If you live outside of the USA please try to send your photo as soon as you get your swapper name and vice versa, it takes forever sometimes past the send date for it to get to the right destination. Be creative, enjoy the Fall.

i would love to join this swap, spring over here in Australia :)

Can make an exception for seasons that are not Autumn unless you have a former photo you took when it was the season. But make a note to your swapper about it. I forgot it was different than here or I would have made it just USA/Canada and where I know it will be autumn.

Same here, Singapore is sunny all year round!

You know, even though it is autumn here where I live, I think it would be great fun to get a photo from another part of the world that was taken during this part of the year! I'd be willing to call it a September swap, or something!

Oh boy, I would be so joining this swap, if only I saw some variety as far as participants' locations are concerned... now seems as if just you guys from the USA find photography worth swapping. :| I'll watch it for the time being. And I totally agree with TereDiane1954 - receiving a spring shot while it's deep autumn at yours would be just as great!

Good idea. That is fine with me. I will add that

Here in Chile we're at the end of winter, going into spring next week, but I have some lovely photos of autumn 2010, will that work? I want to make sure it's OK =p

ladydy5 09/12/2012 #

Liveke that is what I am talking about also, if you like taking photos surely you have some when it was Autumn in your part of the world, so that would be great and also if your swapper doesn't t mind getting a season they are in whereever then it is fine too. Souplike I don't understand variety of places as everyone has a different view and yes, we "guys" do like swapping photos in " the USA" However, we in the USA also enjoy seeing places we may never get to see..

I can't wait till this begins, I live in the desert so to me it looks the same year round but I will do what I can :-)

Great Valondra and I bet you will do just fine. Remeber those who are in an Autumn area, stores and homes are being decorated as we speak, great ideas and great photos.

Aww, i really like the idea of this swap. i love taking pictures and fall season is so beautiful! :)

For those who get swapper from another country other than your own, please send as soon as you can before the actual send date as it takes sometimes two or more weeks for it to get to your swapper.

Today I see only 4 out of the 17 have not either sent yet or have and did not mark it sent. I have messaged the four with a friendly reminder.
