1- This swap is for a handcrafted Smashbook sized 6 by 8 inches (12.7cm by 17.78 cm) or larger. Direction can go vertical or horizontal.2- It needs to have at least 30 pages (that is to say 15 pieces of paper) PLUS in addition include smaller sized pages/pockets/tags. Let's make the book fat and fun!3- This round will be a little different. I have lowered the number of pages and ask that you find a way to add some 'junk' like interesting candy or food wrappers, junk mail or used envies.....let's make this a Smashbook with nice junk in it.4- Don't forget to make and nicely decorate the cover. Please do more than just a piece of pretty paper or some paint. It should be made using material that is AT LEAST AS STURDY as cereal boxes. Go ahead and use your cereal boxes! Covers should be decorated.5- To bind use AT LEAST two binder rings OR use a bind it all or some other binding machine.6- With your package include a small suprise for them that will go with their smashbook. Ideas include: a nice pen, an envelope of ephemera, whatever you like....You are to make them Smashbook Journal pages that have plenty of blank spaces for writing/gluing/drawing.... this Smashbook is to be a place to record your thoughts and add some photos or pictures or your own drawings. All blank pages should not 'literally' be a blank white page. Blank pages mean (undecorated patterned or solid colored page... but it is nice to add something like a pocket, a small image/stamps, a quote). This book should not be done rushed, with little attention put into it. Why don't you create some interactive or bulky pages (pockets with tags, hidden journaling, ribbons...) throw in a map, a page from a dictionary or book, an intersting photo or postcard... go to town!!! Once you sign up.... you can get to work creating your partner's journal.Once partners are assigned you are welcome to contact your partner, if you wish, or read their profile to know best how to make a journal they will love. Final things- when you send your package out make sure and send it in a box or bubble mailer. If sending in a manilla envelope put some sturdy cardboard around it to help it keep its shape and unwrinkled. Make sure it can travel without getting banged up. Must have at least a 4.95 rating with no recent 1 or 3's. You must have completed at least 10 type 3 swaps. I will check profiles before assigning partners. To cut down on flakers I raised the rating requirement.
