Description:

Create one original collage postcard in a monochromatic RED color scheme. All variations of red are welcome. If by chance some other colors sneak in, that's fine, as long as the card is predominately RED.

Please create your red collage using paper and other collage bits - don't pull a Queen of Hearts and paint your postcard red. You may add other media accents as you like - stamped ink, pen doodles, paint touches, stitching - but the heart of the challenge is to use cut+paste collage techniques to create a monochromatic postcard.

Once your red postcard is complete, mail it naked to your partner. Don't forget to include your Swap-bot ID and the name of the swap somewhere on your card.

Yep, the next one will probably be yellow, so you can start collecting stuff now if you want (but it won't be due until after the holidays).

If anyone has any suggestions for color combos (2 or 3 color schemes), feel free to post them in the swap ideas thread in our forum.

Ooooh - yellow! I was wondering about the next color when I was going through so many things looking for reds.

I finished my red postcard today and can't wait for the next one.
