Description: | |
This is part 2 of a 2 part swap. In part 1, we mailed each other an envie of art supplies suitable for making a piece of mail art. Now comes the fun part! You will take the supplies you received from your partner in part 1 of this swap and create a piece of mail art for your partner you send to in part 2! You DO NOT have to use everything your part 1 partner sent to you AND you can ADD more things to what you received if you wish. Ideally, your creation should be made MOSTLY from what you received. The mail art you create will be in the form of a 5x7 postcard type. On the "front" side of your card, you will work your creative genius and on the "back" side of the card you will put your partners address as well as a list of those things which you received in part 1 that you actually used, on the front side. :) IMPORTANT NOTE: For anyone who wishes to join this swap but did not take part in Part 1, you can choose some items from your own materials and supplies to make a postcard for your partner. On the back side, instead of listing what you received, instead, tell your partner what your favourite medium is for creating mail art. Perhaps you prefer cut and pasting over painting, or maybe you prefer to use markers and add little bits of this and that. Whatever your preferred method is, just tell your partner a bit about that. As usual, no recent 1's or 3's. Only join if you are committed to see it through. Have some fun with this! Seeing as we have not all received our goodies yet, I have made this swap sign up date for Dec 10 and the send out date is not until January 4. If for some reason, you have not received by then let me know and I'll move the send date further up but I sincerely suspect I won't have to do this. |
