Hello travel-lovers!

Here are the rules for this swap:

  • 1 partner

  • 2 postcards

The first postcard should be store-bought with a place you've been to. And the second one - handmade - with a place you want to visit.

It's a simple swap. But I hope everyone will enjoy making a card with his dream-trip.

I don't want to limit the rating, though I will check every profile to make sure you can be trusted. Newbies are welcome.

Send the cards in an envelope, not separately.

If you have questions or want to add anything - feel free to contact me.

Have fun!!!

Hi! This is a nice swap. I would love to join but I can swap only with partners that send via REGISTERED (trackable through internet) MAIL. I send it the same way. Handstitching is one of my passions and swaping is the other one. I have been doing it for several years in the Yahoo group Iร‚ยดm in and now Iร‚ยดm looking forward to do it with somebody here. Please let me know if thereร‚ยดs a chance I can join. Thanks! Marissa :)

@MarissaDeCh Well, I can't promise you that your partner will send you cards via registered mail. As for me, I have never do it and I don't even know how. If you join you should discuss it with your partner when the partners are assigned.

@MarissaDeCh why can you only swap with people willing to send registered mail? If I'm reading this page properly: http://pe.usps.com/text/imm/mo_012.htm>

then it costs $11.75 to send registered mail from the US to Mexico. Standard postcard or envelope postage US to Mexico would be $0.85. I doubt you'll find many people willing to spend an extra $11 on a postcard! Perhaps there's some other way to do it that I'm not familiar with?

Itร‚ยดs for security reasons. Mail TO/FROM Mexico only gets to its destiny when sent REGISTERED. Otherwise it always gets lost :( Thanks for your answers anyway. If you ever would like to swap private this way, let me know. Happy 2013! Marissa :)
