Number of swap partners:3
Description:

First off, you will have 3 partners to whom you will send each partner one card. International welcome. Newbies invited to participate. No swap rating minimums, but I will check for recent no-sends and drop swappers if necessary, prior to sending partners.

Most postcards have some sort of caption/explanation line on the back, telling you exactly what is pictured on the front. For this swap you will recycle a free postcard or an old card you purchased, but don't mind altering. You will leave the caption intact as is on the back of the card, but alter the front to give the caption a brand new, fresh or different meaning/interpretation. You may use any creative, mailable means to alter the cards. Brownie points for making your swap partner laugh. Humor is greatly appreciated. Cards should be mailed "naked" (without envelopes). One card per partner. Three partners.

Thanks to sultrypeacock for her collaborative thoughts & inspirational excitement that tremendously aided and abetted this swap.

I'm not finding a postcard with a good quote on the back! ... can I take an excerpt from a book or poetry as my alteration inspiration instead? (pasting the excerpt up on the back of the postcard, of course, so people could tell what the inspiration was.)

Yes, by all means. If you need to alter the back in order to participate by clipping a quote from a book/magazine etc. in order to get inspired or to create, feel free.

I mailed my postcards on Monday. If anyone wants to look, there's a bit of a preview on my blog. http://feelingscrambled.wordpress.com/
