Asian Energy ATC Swap 2/2

Isn’t that cutting it pretty tight giving us only one day to mail our cards?

I think the idea behind it is make the cards NOW and then you'll have them ready to mail as soon as you find out who your partners are -- then just slap the addresses on the envelopes and off they go. I might join -- still thinking on this one.

The thing is, I don't get to be on the internet every day. I would love to join this swap because I love Asian themed things too. However, even if I have the cards ready, I can't be sure I'll be able to get on the computer that specific day to get the addresses and mail them. Even a few days of leeway would make a big difference for a lot of people I think.

I think your idea of the date is great. I always make my cards ahead of time and mail them the next day. Yes, then I have to wait for weeks before I ever get mine. But that's how it's set up, so I wait.

Is it an international swap ? if it is, hope the shipping time will not be taken into account to give a rating !

Do we make the same pair of cards for each swap partner?

Yay! Asian themed ATC's are one of my favourites, I already have some ready to send, can't wait!

I wonder if this swap will happen. The hostess has leave swapbot. She had send me an email and I'm very sad that one of my participants in my swap will not get anything because goodbye is the partner. :-(

She has dropped from this swap too and is not among the list of participants anylonger, so the question is : will the robot do his job anyway or does it need a swap coordinator at this state of the game ??

I just signed up for this swap, and it did allow me to sign up. I imagine the 'bot' will do his job and give us all partners. If not, I will create a new swap, same type of theme. Let's wait and see what happens on Dec. 15th.

My cards are complete and have been, they are in the envelopes with stamps and there are no partners to send to. What's up with this?

Ok, looks like maybe since the original hostess dropped out, that the 'bot' didn't assign any partners. So I will set this up again. I don't want to use her same title in the event that that is a no-no....so...thinking....ummm.... ok, let's just keep it simple...look for the swap titled Asian ATC Exchange. (sorry, at 2:45 in the morning, I am not really creative!!) See you in the new swap!!!

There seemed to be a lot of problems with getting partners addresses over the weekend but after I emailed swap-bot all mine turned up!

I'm so glad this swap is going ahead as I had everytthing ready to post, they will be in the mail tomorrow to Cheryl, Susan and Evelyn :)

Obviously my atc's will be late due to all the problems with this swap. I figured that since I couldn't get my partner's names on the close date that it was not happening. I think we will all take into consideration the issue with swap-bot and the delay in getting partner assignments. This was a unique situation and I ask that all concerned remember this when they are leaving feedback. Thanks to all who participated and I hope you enjoy the ATC's.

Still waiting on any of my 3 cards to receive.

Now I have 3 people to rate. One of the 3 lists as not sent and 2 have sent however I haven't received anything from anybody. I realize this swap was fouled up but then names to send to were posted and I filled my obligation and yet nothing in return.
