For this swap, you will decorate a 3 inch by 5 inch index card. You can use any medium you want. Paint, stickers, Photoshop, zentangle, cut and paste, stamped images... just a few ideas. You get the idea. Anything goes. Make something you would like to receive. Basically, if you can barely bring yourself to part with it, that's the one you send! ;-)

Please do not fold the cards, or make origami out of them. These are to be embellished and decorated, but left flat so they will fit in a recipe-sized box.

I'm making this USA only to keep down postage costs (and because I have no idea if 3 X 5 cards are available elsewhere). If you want to do an international version of this swap, please let me know so I can join it! LOL!

The back side (with your name) can be lightly decorated if you want. Any kind of index card will work. Blank. Lined. Colored. White. Sender's choice.

We all have varying degrees of talent and taste, so if you get a card and it matches the swap description, please rate a 5, even if you don't like it.

I will angel if necessary, but I hope it won't be.

There is no rating filter on this swap, but I will be checking profiles and if you have any unexplained ones or threes, I will ban you. I want everyone to feel safe to swap.

FYI...in the USA the MINIMUM size for mailing postcards and envelopes is 5" long and 3-1/2" high. These index cards (5x3) do not meet the requirements so no guarantee they will get through the postal system. https://www.usps.com/send/address-letter-cards.htm

Are we supposed to decorate both sides or just one?

Do the cards need design don both sides?

Are blank on both sides required or can the lined ones be sued?

Colors, can they be other than white?

This is funny, I was going through some papers and art and other paper items earlier today, and ran across an index card that I drew one. I forgot I did it, but could tell by the lines that it was mine. ( the bad parts) I was thinking abut a draw on the index card swap, but this is close enough.
