Description:

For this swap you will use weaving someplace on your ATC. It can be any type of material -- paper, vellum, Washi tape, fabric, junk mail, ribbon, or ?? whatever--anything but stickers! The weaving can be the background or an added element, but it must be obvious, not just a little tiny bit of woven threads hidden someplace. :)

Also, your weaving should not be the only thing on the ATC. Use it as a feature, but not the only thing on there.

Think outside your usual bag of tricks and try something new and different if you like, just make sure the final product is something you would like to receive and that it is not offensive to your partner. This is not profile specific, however, so you can start on it early to make a wonderful ATC for your partner.

Usual ATC rules: 2.5 X 3.5" ; backing must be sturdy and have your name, username, swap name and date on it. Please make your edges clean and even, and all elements fit inside the dimensions (not hanging over the edges.)

Remember, this is an ARTIST trading card, so make your project artistic.

Can you post an example picture of weaving on an ATC? Thanks :)

sorry, @jannieb - just figured out how to do that. Not sure my photos aren't too big, but since they are allowed to go up, I am not going to worry! There are also examples of several woven pieces on my design blog . I have been a bit obsessed with weaving lately.
