Description:
For this swap, we will be following this project guide outlined by Chris Dunmire: Collage Cubies "Outside the Box" Collage Art Project. The link will take you to a full, detailed tutorial that includes templates for the project. The Nitty Gritty: create one collage cubie (following the guide linked above) using the 8.5"x11" template overall theme, colors, papers and other collage elements used are sender's choice DO NOT assemble your cubie. When you are finished collaging and making it beautiful, send it to your partner FLAT. However you can fold in some of the tabs and sides to make it fit better in an envelope. Depending on how this goes, I think it would be fun to do more (maybe themed, maybe not). These would be really sweet to collect for decoration around the house. If you have trouble printing the template, or have any questions, let me know!

I like the idea of doing more of these swaps. I can picture hanging these - perhaps turning multiple cubies into a mobile. Cool cool!

Steph, I don't have a printer ,otherwise I'd do this , for sure...it's a cool idea, and themes would be fun!

@bigmamabird - I can mail you a copy of the template - or 2...that way you'd have an extra to trace around and use as a template for future swaps?
