Description:

I love the Zoo and aquariums and go every chance I get (I love animals) and I thought it would be fun to do a swap for Zoo souvenirs. Now we all have an extra reason for going to the zoo :) For this swap you will go to your local zoo or aquarium and pick out $15-$20 of items at the gift shop. (purchases from the gift shop help support the zoo, what a great way to get some cool critter stuff and help your local zoo!) At least one item should have the name of the zoo or aquarium you go to.

All swappers are required to have a 4.9 rating or higher to participate.

Have participated in 10 or more swaps in the past

This is an international swap.

Now for the not so fun parts. Please don't join if you are not sure you can send for the swap. It is so sad to work hard on a package for your partner and not get one in the mail.

Thank you so much to everyone who has signed up for this swap. We have three zoos in our area that we like to go to. I thought it would be fun to post a little bit about them.

Woodland park zoo- this zoo is huge and amazing. They have an exhibit where you go into a room with hundreds of Australian birds and can buy a food stick and they birds will hop on your hand to eat. Truly amazing!

Point Defiance Zoo - a great zoo and one we go to quite often. We have a membership there and every year they have an members only night where you get to go behind the scenes. How often do you get a foot away from a polar bear with just a fence between you :)

Northwest Trek - I LOVE this zoo and I wish that it was closer. You get to ride a tram into an area where the animlas are loose. In the summer they even take the plexi off the tram so that you are inches away from Bison, Big Horn Sheep and Moose among other critters.

I would love to here about your local Zoos and aquariums and what you like best about them!
