Description:

The idea for this swap came from a gift I made for my mom this Christmas.

In this swap you will be sending a hand decorated stationery set for your partner. Be creative… you can stamp images, use washi, die cuts, hand drawn elements or combine a few techniques.

What the set should include:

• 4 decorated envelopes. They can be handmade and decorated or you can simply decorate some premade envelopes.

Choose one of the following to include:

• 4 matching decorated writing papers. You can start with any decent quality writing paper. I used some lined notepaper that I had and trimmed it to size and decorated it to match the envelopes I had made.

• 4 matching decorated note cards. They can be handmade or you can decorate some store bought plain note cards to match. If you get inspired, but this is not required you can make some matching labels or seals as an extra sheet.

The idea is that you will create a nice little matching set of stationery that your partner can use for pen pals or future swaps. The theme is sender's choice so you can start creating your sets as soon as you'd like. Make sure to create something that you would be thrilled to receive. Package it up carefully so that it doesn’t get damaged in mailing.

Please remember to include your user ID and the swap name with a nice note for your partner in the package.

I am leaving plenty of time between sign up and send by so you can create something beautiful for your partner. You can check your partners profile for ideas but this is NOT required.

Participants must have a 4.9 cumulative rating and be rated for at least10 type 2 or type 3 swaps. No unresolved 1’s and no recent (last 6 months) 3's.

I will check profiles before I assign partners. I will angel if needed, but with this group I am sure that will not be necessary.

Feel free to ask any questions below...I am on often and should be able to answer quickly:)

Have Fun!!

Should we make our writing papers the size of the envelopes? I guess my question is more along the lines of can the papers be folded in half?

I an sorry I didn't see this until now. Yes the papers can be folded in half. As they would be to fit in the matching envelope.
