QnT 2015 What's in your attic quilt block swap #1

03/18/15 thru 04/18/15

Back by popular demand for the 3rd year running!

9” block

In this swap you will make 3 different Attic Window quilt blocks for each of 2 partners for a total of 6 blocks sent this time. You may send the same set of 3 different blocks to each partner. We want a large variety of them for a very interesting finished product!

Whenever possible use bright and cheerful fabrics in your blocks.

--each mailed block will be 9 inches

--using novelty prints, scenery, or an interesting print as the item/items seen in the attic window

--the left side of the block should be a lighter color than the bottom side and can be plain or a small print fabric (senders’ choice)

You may use the following tutorial for the 9inch version of this block. Attic Window Blocks

Questions or concerns are welcome. Enjoy!

I was missing these blocks too....they are fun to make but my favorite part is gathering and picking the novelty prints for the centers and the matching fabrics for the two sides of the window
