Description:

U.S. only

This is not to make a whole costume, but to make some fun items to use for laughs. I work in an office and find it too difficult to wear a costume all day (not to mention maintain some amount of professionalism). But a crochet mustache, beard, or kitty ears is pretty simple and doable! Maybe a halo - I could sure use one!

Knit or crochet a minimum of three (3) items that could be used as a Halloween costume or disguise. Include a candy goodie at minimum at least the equivalent of a candy bar. In other words, not just a tiny snack size bar or a few pieces of hard candy. Be generous with your partner!

I've included a list of possible ideas. I've seen patterns for some of these on the internet or be creative and make your own. Not necessary, but if you feel like it for extras you could send the pattern if you found it free on the internet and some scraps of yarn to make more!

In the comment section please post ideas that I may have missed but not special requests. Let's not limit creativity! This is a fun swap and not the place for any fussiness over fiber content. That being said, please read your partners profile for any allergies.

  • Mustache (handlebar, Dali, Groucho, Charlie Chaplin etc.) made to tape on or with elastic
  • Elf or Spock ears
  • Beards (goatee, full, stinger etc.) made to tape on or with elastic
  • Unibrow made to tape on or with elastic
  • Clown Nose
  • Cat ears on a headband or attach with clippies
  • Pig Nose
  • Devil horns on a headband or attach with clippies
  • Eye balls
  • Lone Ranger style mask with elastic
  • Funny glass frames
  • Pirate eye patch
  • Halo

Requirements: You must have already completed and been rated for a minimum of 10 swaps not including email type swaps, a 4.7 or higher, and no no-sends. Please, if you don't really have the time because you've already signed up for fifty swaps or lack the know how to make such items don't sign up. I will check before assigning partners and ban anyone who has slipped in ratings or is posting on their profile that they will late in sending for any reason.

I am planning on joining this I just want to make sure I can make what I want to make... But it is a big thing so then I will have to think of two small things to go with!
