Description:

Create one pocket letter postcard for one partner, sender's choice.

Here you can see how I made one but of course you can give your own turn to it. As long as you have 4 pockets on your postcard.

Put a letter in the first pocket, and decorate the other 3 pockets (for example with a crafted card, atc or tag). You can google pocket letters to get some ideas.

Put some flat surprises in the pockets, for example stickers, used stamps, nice cut outs, decorated papers, sequins, and so on. Don't put too much in the pockets, a little something will so. When the pockets are too full, they are more at risk while sending.

These pocket letters will cost more to send them. They are heavier and larger. Please, find out what it will cost in your country, and make the decision if it's worth it for you, before you signup. I don't want anybody being disappointed in postal costs!

Make 1 pocket letter postcard for 1 partner. Send it written and stamped, so no envelope.

I am curious why if you are going to write on the postcard why put a letter in one of the pockets? Seems redundant.

Since this is a pocket letter postcard, we write a letter, and put it in the first pocket. This is a requirement of this swap.

On the postcard at least write the address, your swapbot name and the name of the swap.

this swap sounds interesting, but since I always have trouble with my mail getting there (anywhere), it sounds dangerous to me to try to send this. If I tape it too good, the poor person receiving would never get it open.

Any mail can damage on it's way. I received serveral storebought postcards through postcrossing that were badly damaged. I sent one pocket letter postcard, and it arrived safely :-)

You may want to have this USA and then the next time international as some countries may want to see what's in the pockets.Just a thought for security of personal messages.

I don't exactly understand your message @Barbara

@Barbara - @taeniura is a European swapper so she couldn't run a US only swap.
