Description:

Here are the requirements for this swap:

We will each choose 3 of our favorite themes for our partner to make and decorate personalized swap cards for us. This way, we're sure to get something we'll enjoy and use. We will post our choices in the comments below before the swap partners are assigned.

We will make our partner 1 dozen swap cards.

The swap cards must be flat mail friendly-- so no embellishments which might create a lump in the envelope and make it non-machinable.

Swap cards will be 2X4 inches or 2.5"X3.5" (ATC/pocket letter size). We will post in the comments below if we have a size preference. They are this size since we don't want them to be too large to add too much to the weight; likewise, they will not be made out of heavy cardstock or chipboard in order to save on shipping costs. Cards should include the categories (in any order): Name of swap: (leave blank) To: (leave blank) From: (include our partner's swapbot name, or leave this blank), and be blank or lined on the back side so that we can use it to leave a note if desired.

We will decorate each one of our partner's swap cards. We may decorate cards using 1, 2, or all 3 categories they chose (I like to do all 3). We will have three full weeks to create and send the cards after partners are assigned.

When we receive our cards, as long as they meet the above requirements (are flat mail friendly, decorated in a theme we chose, and include spaces for the swap name, our swapbot name, and our future swap partner's name), we should rate the swap a 5. Hearts are, of course, at our discretion.

Please note: this is a type 3 swap because of the crafting component. We should get as creative as we like with our partner's theme(s), as long as we keep it flat and lightweight!

Hi Stella! :) I'd like either size of card, or both-- whatever works best for your designs. The themes I'd like to choose are pandas, peacocks, and strawberries. :) I hope this gives you some fun variety to work with! Thanks for doing this swap with me!

My favorite themes are sewing stamped images, chevron (fabric structure) and postage stamps. In this case I don not prefer very bright colors, I prefer the colors powdered, do you understand what I mean? The size is your choice, whatever works best for your designs...., thank you for hosting.

I assume you mean a more muted palette, like so:
Is that right?

I am sorry I let you wait so long.................If one sends a comment you are not becoming a message. But YES, these are the colors I like in this case. I have a question too: a panda is difficult to work with, do you have another idea for me for you.................

Oh, I forgot, I prefer ATC size (the other one is very small), but if you are ready I will not rate you 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I will do ATC size--no problem. Forest or wildlife would be good instead of pandas. For sewing, I don't have rubber stamps with those specific images, but I can do various sewing images with other mediums. Thanks!
