Description:

@cutesygirlynai ran a larger version of this swap last year, but she started it in September! Since it's already October, I thought I'd make it a little smaller and hopefully easier. :-)

Similar to @cutesygirlynai s swap, the idea is that you will have 25 envelopes to open on Christmas Day. Here's the edited version of her swap description:

The idea behind this swap is that you will be sending & receiving 25 mini happy mails. I was thinking of a Christmas swap, and I thought, besides stocking stuffers, what swaps would I love to open on Christmas Day? What isn't heavy & expensive to post, yet super satisfying? Flat mail envelopes full of paper goodies! The swaps I participate in most, yet 25 of them to open on Christmas day really would be amazing!!!!

You will be sending your two partners, in each swap, TWO mini envelopes with paper ephemera, smash book goodies, crafts, stickers, stationery, etc. Whether you would like to sign up for every single one of these swaps, is up to you. If you do, you will end up with 25 gifts to open on Christmas.

You can join any or all of these swaps.

These envelopes are designed to be opened for Christmas. Please don't open your included envelopes until Christmas. Just set them aside and it will be worth the wait! :-) You can also hold onto them and use them as little advent envelopes of paper goodies if you really can't wait.

Okay, you've all got the idea. Now let's get down to the nitty gritty. These swaps are going to be quick. We've got 6 of them to get through and I would like us to be done by the end of November. So here are the requirements so we can get started.

You will have two partners. For each partner you will put together two small gift envelopes (no smaller than ATC size). In each envelope, please include an small paper based gift for your partner. Include a tag or label on your gift envelopes so we know who they're from when we open them. These are the envelopes we will open for Christmas!

When you receive this swap, you'll open the mailed envelope, and take your Christmas envelope/wrapped gifts and keep them safe until Christmas.

You will be rating on your partners sending on time, NOT on what they send until after Christmas. since you won't be opening your gifts right away. When you open them, you are more than welcome to go back and edit your rating.

What to send? - These are aimed to be easy, small, flat swaps. It is senders choice. Yes, you can destash. :-) Examples of what you can send - washi samples, ATCs, cutouts, ephemera, stickers, punches, stamped images, stamps, embellishments, journal cards, tags, note cards, book pages, ribbon, and whatever else you may have that you think your partner will enjoy. We are all paper lovers and that's what this swap is for. However, as always, Christmas swap or not, I would recommend looking at your partner's profile just to see if you can make their day by including something they love or collect if you have time. As always, do NOT send anything dirty, broken, just plain rubbish or useless.

Please avoid sending gifts that are not flat or are store bought gifts like jewelry, lotions, books, etc. It just isn't fair if you are sending big gifts and your partner is sticking to requirements and sending flat mail. You are more than welcome to buy things like stationery and stickers for the swap but PLEASE remember this is FLAT MAIL and paper ephemera please don't be going out spending lots of money and be disappointed to get an envelope full of paper in return.

Since we're sending two envelopes to each partner, please put different items in each envelope. :-)

Any questions? Just ask! :-)

Let's start getting excited for Christmas. Let's get swapping!!!

what about paper ornaments? Maybe a little more sophisticated than the ones we made in elementary school of course.

I think paper ornaments would be fine. Pretty much anything paper goes that you think your partner would enjoy. :-)
