Marie @lagemaz has started a great series taking a look at many of the women in Bible. After talking with her about it, she is going to continue her series, and I am going to host a series of swaps looking closely at some of the Bible's Bad Babes. You have probably heard of the books by Liz Curtis Higgs entitled, "Bad Girls of the Bible." This series and a combination of other sources will guide the studies I post.
Our first study will examine Lot's wife. This unnamed women is often remembered for "turning back" for one last look. Before you condemn her, join me in looking more closely at her account and at ourselves and our choices.
You can begin preparing for this study by reading Genesis 19:12-29 and Luke 17:28-33. A single page study guide with questions to consider will follow after sign-ups. You will then have three weeks to complete your study guide and send it to your one partner.
