Description:

Don't you just love getting home and finding awesome and colorful mail in your mailbox? If you do, then this is the swap for you.

This is a low cost swap, and IÒ€ℒll be hosting it on a monthly basis.

The requirements are:

Send a super cute envelope, using any medium you want, stickers, washi tape, rubber stamps, anything, just make sure it looks super cute.

Look through your stash and include the following flat items:

  • 1 sticker sheet
  • 5 washi tape samples (12 inch/30 centimeters each)
  • 1 postcard
  • 1 teabag
  • 3 items of your choice, store-bought or handmade. Some ideas: bookmarks, tags, die cuts, stationery, blank notecards, handmade envelopes, confetti, postage stamps, ephemera, smash bits, project life cards, the list is endless.

Please also include a nice note for your partner in pretty stationery and don't forget to include your username and swap name.

This is a sender's choice swap, so you can get started on your swap as soon as you want. It's always nice to check your partner's profile, but ultimately this is sender's choice, so if you receive something you don't like, you can send it in another round of these swaps or any other swap.

The total weight of your envie should be no more than 40-50 grams, so that neither of us spends too much on postage. Use postage stamps if possible.

No newbies this time, sorry. I'm trying to keep this a free flake zone. Only people with a 4.85 rating. You must have at least 20 rated type 2 and 3 swaps (in total). No recent and unsolved 1's and 3's in the last year. I will be looking through everyone's profile and reserve the right to ban anyone who seems flaky or problematic.

I will angel this swap in case someone flakes, but I'm trying to be as cautious as I can and really hope we can all have fun with this swap.

If you have any questions, suggestions or doubts, please don't hesitate to contact me or add a comment in this swap.

Happy swapping everyone!

can you host a newbie friendly version of this swap or a similar swap please?

Im sorry @anxietyballetdancer but I can't. I take a lot of pride in being a good host. I always make sure these are safe to all participants and angel if someone flakes. It's really sad but even with these type of requirements I've seen some flakers in my swaps. So imagine what it would be like if this was open to all newbies. And I would hate opening a swap where I won't be able to make sure most participants will send their items and of course won't be able to angel when there's too many flakers.

Hope you don't take this personally, we were all newbies once and had to start with pretty basic and easy stuff to be able to join bigger swaps. You're more than welcome to host your own newbie friendly swap and copy my idea, but I would appreciate if you didn't copy the name of the swap.

I will be hosting monthly rounds throughout the year, hope you can join at some point :)
