April is National Letter-writing Month. Is anyone else participating in the Write_On Challenge of 30 Letters in 30 Days? This swap is for anyone wanting some accountability or encouragement throughout the month. Here’s how it works... Sign up. Keep a log of who you write to each day. You don’t have to be very detailed at all. The date and the first name of who you wrote to is enough, although you could be more forthcoming if you wanted to and include what you sent and/or why. On April 30, write a letter to your partner describing your Write On experience and include your log. It doesn’t have to be a long letter, but it should discuss at minimum one of the following subjects: How you learned of the Write On Challenge, why you participated in the challenge, what surprised you about the challenge, what you took away from the challenge, or if you will participate again (or continue to write more regular letters) and why. We can use the comment section if we need some prompts or encouragement throughout the month. I’m calling this a type 3 swap since it is a month long commitment requiring 30 letters/30 stamps. I won’t set a minimum requirement, but will ban at my discretion for drama, late sends, unexplained 1s and 3s. Let me know you understand the rules and have read the requirements by sending me a message if you have fewer than a dozen type 3 swaps, or any other exceptions are requested. |
