mug rug

hi everyone!

i thought it'd be fun to make a mug rug - summer themed- for your iced choice of drink- lol

i've attached a few links for those who have never made one before.

this is the ORIGINAL recycled art project- the history is simple- in the 1800's material was saved and reused and then reused again- hence the penny rug. scraps could be cut as small as pennies and then stacked hand sewn and viola- you had a penny rug- used for actual rugs, bedding, or for "doilies" or candle rugs--

nowadays- mug rugs!

this is a stash buster made from your fabric scraps- any material will do- i personally use felt and hand sew it all.

so here are the pesty rules---

SUMMER THEME - sender's choice of colors and theme must be approximately 8"x10" may be hand sewn or machine sewn any type of fabric you choose.

i am asking that you have at least a 4.9 average as this is my first time hosting on this group. i will angel if needed.
