Description:

I would like to start a Book of Shadows just for this group.

Start with a 3 ring binder that takes 8.5 by 11 inch paper. (I would like to keep the pages all the same size for each swap so we can start the page before partners are assigned). You will keep the binder and be adding pages to it.

There will be a series of swaps for pages to add to your book. The first one will be on the subject of wortcunning. (Wort=herb or plant. Cunning=knowledge). Pick an herb or plant and create an 8.5 by 11 inch page on it. Look up it's physical, as well as metaphysical properties. Include a description or picture of the plant on the page. Maybe include a "recipe" or spell using the plant.

Make it look good. The general rule is, if you like it so much, you don't want to part with it.. that's when you send it! :-)

Now, for the boring stuff: This is sender's choice, so you can get started right away. Rating of at least 4.95. No recent ones or threes. I reserve the right to ban anyone I feel is questionable.

this swap is always fun have started a book page swap in some grouips before but only swap a couple and not more swaps so now I can make more to trade - I always keep an second page like the one I am swapping and add it to my book

great swap

oh clarificsation on above ramblings the swaps went well for 2-3 pages then no more swaps and the group just went to sleep and still has not woke up been several years now

Will it be ok to fold the pages for mailing, or should they be sent flat?

PrairieKittin 07/24/2016 #

Folding the page would probably decrease the postage, so yes, you can fold them if you absolutely have to. I'd prefer they were mailed flat in a plastic page protector, but I understand the need to keep postage costs down.

@Maggie249 ... What group was that in? There are a few that I have requested to join, but when I went to the founders page, discovered they hadn't been active in years. :-(
